Cale has just been denied his dream job with the Secret Service of protecting the President. Not wanting his little girl Emily to know the news that he didn't get the job he decides to take on a tour around the white house. While they're at the white house a group of people come and attack the white house. Now Cale had to keep the president safe and try to look for his daughter that he lost while the big commotion happened. When I first heard about this movie, I thought it would be boring just by the title of it. Once a lot of people started recommending me to watch the movie I decided that I wouldn't loose anything from watching this movie. On the bright side Channing Tatum is an actor so he'll make the movie way better with his good looks. Once into the movie I was so into it and kept me at the edge of my seat. It was such a good movie. The only part I really disliked is when the bad guys are cartoonish and you kind of realize that this can't really happen and I kind of toon out of the movie. Also many parts the happened were a but unrealistic to me because they get hurt and keep on going like nothing is wrong. Except mostly in every movie that happens... they can get hit by a train and still survive to kill the bad guy. Overall I give this movie a B+ because it was a really intense movie. Wednesday, December 18, 2013

Blog 6; The Call
When I first saw the movie cover of The Call I imagined it to be a horror movie. After watching it turns out that's not. An 911 operator gets a life-alternating call from a girl who has just been abducted. She soon needs to confront a killer from the past in order to save this girls life. I thought that the movie was just simply amazing. It kept me at the edge of my seat, not knowing what was going to happen next. It was such an intense movie because of how the girl that was abducted was trying escape and how the operator was helping her throughout the way. I feel in love with the movie. I was into the movie that I seriously didn't realize the I was at the edge of my bed practically trying to get into the television. The only thing that I didn't like was the ending because the operator and the abducted girl left the killer in a basement to die. I thought it could have been more interesting if they threw the guy in jail. Overall I give the move an A-. One of my favorite movies now.

Instructions Not Included
Instructions not included is a Spanish language movie. It all starts off as a Mexican bachelor forced to be a father and how that situation plays off in his life long struggle with fear. Since I knew how to speak spanish i understood all the parts where they spoke spanish, but for other people who don't speak spanish I think it would be tiring for them to read the subtitles throughout the whole movie. I thought the movie was so heartwarming. The movie shows how parent hood can change you. I had lots of laughs in this movie. There was many parts where I didn't expect to happen and it really surprised me because it kept me interested in the movie. I wouldn't put this movie as one of my favorite movies, but it is something fun to watch. I didn't like the ending so much because it didn't end how I would have imagined it, but it was shocking with what happened at the end. My overall grade for the movie is a C+. Below is a trailer of the movie.

Week One of My 20 Percent Project
My group and I have been changed our ideas couple of time this week. We were going to go to a retirement and talk to the residents there but we couldn't find a retirement house where they would allow us to interview the residents. It turns out interviewing a resident is invasion of privacy there so we had to change our project. At the end we decided to do reviews on movies. It really interested us because we all love watching movies and it would be fun seeing different types of movies. This whole week we have been working on our proposal to make our lives easier for once we start our project. This Friday we decided to watch our first movie at the theaters. We'll be watching Insidious 2. We won't always be watching movies at the theaters most likely we'll be be renting movies and watching movies on Netflix. Below shows the trailer of Insidious 2.
